The Author Ian Geary

Ian Geary, has two decades experience in UK politics; he was worked for two Labour MPs, a trade union, in political consultancy and was a Public Affairs Officer for the The Salvation Army in the UK. In 2015 along with Adrian Pabst he edited the essay collection: ‘Blue Labour:Forging a New politics’. 

Based in Greece with his family he is a volunteer for The Salvation Army and a member of a multi-cultural church initiative as part of the Catalyst network of churches. He is studying for a PhD in Divinity at the University of Aberdeen focusing on the ‘Vocation of the Church in the Liberal Polis – In conversation with Karl Barth and Stanley Hauerwas’.
